36 Mahavidyas


There is mention of fifty mahavidyas in tantra corresponding to fifty matrikas of kundalini Shakti . But here as per limitation of current age of Kali yuga & that also after its first cycle ended in AD 1898 , 5000 years cycle scope of teachings were limited as dharma , body , mind of humans has become more polluted like waters of rivers & air in cities . Now we are in further down in AD 2025 with polluted minds & bodies . In such times scope of practice gets further limited . Though Ten mahavidya system is popular since last 300 years as it mainly originated in Nepal & Bengal region, other mahavidyas were still practiced at different parts of the country .
Here I am making a list of 36 mahavidyas corresponding to 36 tatwas of Universe as per Tantra Shastra

All these 36 mahavidyas are mainly give siddhi by vamachara as per great Shaktisangam Tantra . Initiation is not given currently in all 36 but only in current 10 mahavidyas & other few mahavidyas out of remaining 26 . Seekers should enquire us that the Mahavidya out of 36 which they are seeking , her deeksha & Sadhana is available or not . Then deeksha will be followed accordingly . Deeksha in these Mahavidyas is given by Sri Kutupananda Nath .
